Selected: 2026 Salon at the Triton
A Wing and a Prayer has been juried into the 2026 Salon at the Triton — the Triton Museum of Art's annual 2D Art Competition & Exhibition in Santa Clara. 117 works were selected from over 2,500 statewide submissions, which still feels a little unreal.
The exhibition opens May 2, with an Artists' Reception on May 16 where winners will be announced. It runs through August 16 — a full summer at one of the Bay Area's most beloved museum spaces.
This year's jury — Mei-Ying Dell'Aquila, Lorraine Lawson, and Preston Metcalf — brought a remarkable range of perspectives to the selection, and I'm genuinely honored to have A Wing and a Prayer among the chosen works.
