Barbara Brenner and Katherine Filice Return to the 2025 Atlanta Art Fair

When Trees Dream of Water

Barbara Brenner and Katherine Filice Return to the 2025 Atlanta Art Fair with a Collaborative Exhibition

Booth #D17 | September 25–28, 2025

Atlanta Art Fair | Pullman Yards | Atlanta, Georgia

Following their acclaimed joint showing at the inaugural 2024 Atlanta Art Fair, artists Barbara Brenner and Katherine Filice return this fall with When Trees Dream of Water, presented by Artfully Branded Curatorial. Don’t miss this collaborative exhibition exploring reflection, transformation, and the invisible currents that connect us.

Barbara Brenner’s latest photographic works continue her exploration of surface and distortion. Through reflection, she reshapes the built environment into poetic abstractions—structures that ripple, dissolve, and reassemble with painterly fluidity. Her work invites viewers to linger in the moment where clarity and ambiguity meet.

Katherine Filice
responds through layered ink-based compositions that emerge from a deeply process-driven approach. Using sumi ink, buried canvas, sediment, and natural materials, her pieces evoke the pull of memory, the layering of time, and the language of roots and ritual.

Together, their works speak across medium and material in a shared visual conversation. One captures the ephemeral quality of water; the other, the slow and silent accumulation of earth. When Trees Dream of Water is a meditation on movement and memory—on what we hold, what we release, and what dreams might rise when the boundaries between elements dissolve.

EVENT DETAILS
The exhibition will be on view at Booth #D17 at the 2025 Atlanta Art Fair, held September 25–28 at Pullman Yards. For more information, visit theatlantaartfair.com or artfullybrandedcuratorial.com.
