Santa Clara, CA – April 2024 – Katherine Filice is proud to announce that her artwork, Echos In The Ether, will be featured in the "Salon at the Triton: A 2D Art Competition and Exhibition" at the Triton Museum of Art. The exhibition will run through September 8, 2024 showcasing a wide array of 2D artworks by talented artists.
Echos In The Ether is an ink on canvas piece, measuring 48” x 60”, gallery wrapped, and signed in verso. Created in 2023, this artwork continues Filice’s exploration of spiritual boundaries, connections, and memories, blending intricate details with a deep sense of introspection.
"My work often reflects the narratives of the environment, particularly the conifers of Northern California, which serve as timekeepers and storytellers of humanity," says Filice. "With Echos In The Ether, I delve into the concept of resonance—how memories and spiritual connections echo through time and space, creating ripples in the ether."
Filice’s artistic process involves a unique collaboration with the natural world, incorporating organic elements and allowing the environment to leave its mark on the canvas. This dialogue between human existence and a higher spiritual presence is central to her work, inviting viewers to engage in their own introspective journeys.
The "Salon at the Triton" exhibition presents an excellent opportunity to experience Filice’s thought-provoking piece alongside other remarkable 2D artworks.
